Welcome to WiredForWealth. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of wiredforwealth.ca, our newsletter The Inspection Report, and any related content, services, or features (collectively, the "Services").

WiredForWealth is operated from Barrie, Ontario, Canada. By using the Services, you are entering into a binding agreement with us. Please read these Terms carefully.

01 / Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age, or are accessing the Services with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian;
• Have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms;
• Have read and acknowledged our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

WiredForWealth is a Canadian personal finance education and entertainment brand. Our content is built around the persona of Gord "Amp" Ampere, a fictional master electrician, and is designed to make personal finance concepts approachable for Canadians.

We publish content on our website, through our email newsletter, and on third-party platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. We are not a registered financial advisor, broker, dealer, securities firm, investment company, bank, or any other regulated financial entity.

Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:

• We are not a registered investment advisor, financial planner, accountant, lawyer, or tax professional in Canada or any other jurisdiction.
• Nothing on the Services is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, investment product, insurance product, or financial instrument.
• Past performance is not indicative of future results. All investments involve risk, including the potential loss of principal.
• Your personal financial situation is unique. You should consult with a qualified, licensed professional before making any financial, investment, tax, or legal decision.
• Information on the Services may become outdated. Tax rules, contribution limits, government programs, and financial products change frequently. We do not commit to keeping content current.

The "WiredForWealth" name and logo, the "Gord 'Amp' Ampere" persona, and related branding are trademarks of WiredForWealth. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

Limited license to use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services and Content for your personal, non-commercial use.

What you may do

• Read, watch, and listen to our Content.
• Share links to our publicly accessible Content on social media.
• Quote brief excerpts of Content for non-commercial educational or commentary purposes, with attribution to WiredForWealth.

What you may not do

• Reproduce, redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Content without our prior written permission.

If you submit content to us — for example, by replying to our newsletter, sending us an email, posting a comment on one of our social media channels, or otherwise communicating with us — you grant WiredForWealth a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display that submission in connection with the operation and promotion of the Services.

We may quote, paraphrase, or anonymize your submission in future Content (for example, "a reader from Sudbury asked…"). If you do not want your submission to be used this way, please tell us clearly in your message and we will respect that request.

You represent and warrant that any submission you provide is your own, does not infringe the rights of any third party, and complies with the Acceptable Use rules below.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in any way that violates applicable Canadian or international law, including anti-spam, privacy, securities, and intellectual property laws.
• Impersonate WiredForWealth, Gord Ampere, or any other person or entity.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any other person through the Services or in communications with us.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website, servers, accounts, or networks.
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code to the Services.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
• Use the Services to send unsolicited commercial communications or for any fraudulent purpose.

We provide these links for convenience only. The Services and Content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
• Warranties that the Content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or free from errors or omissions;
• Warranties that any defects in the Services will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall WiredForWealth, its operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, savings, or business opportunities;
• Loss of data, goodwill, or reputation;
• Investment losses or financial losses of any kind;
• Damages resulting from your reliance on any Content on the Services,

arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If, despite the limitations above, we are found liable to you, our total cumulative liability for all claims arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable Canadian law, including liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or fraud.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WiredForWealth and its operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the Services;
• Your breach of these Terms;
• Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party;
• Any content you submit to us.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

You may stop using the Services at any time. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by emailing gord@wiredforwealth.ca.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and this Termination clause — will survive any termination of these Terms.

12 / Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

This choice of law and forum applies regardless of where you reside or access the Services from. Where applicable consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction provide rights that cannot be waived, those rights continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.

For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through a banner on our website or by notifying newsletter subscribers. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14 / Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WiredForWealth concerning the Services, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
